UPDATE: The Fall River Public Schools has announced that Durfee High School will be closed tomorrow, January 11 as a result of today’s flooding.

Cleanup of about 50 thousand  gallons of water continues at B.M.C. Durfee High School in Fall River Today. A pipe burst on the fourth floor of the building on Elsbree street in the early morning hours and school was canceled. School Superintendent Matt Malone and several school committee members, were on the scene earlier this morning to assess the damage. Once the crews were in place, Malone held a press conference outside the auditorium. Here’s raw footage of what he had to say:
