According to Fall River Fire Department officials city fire crews responded to a blaze that reignited at 405 E. Warren Street early this morning.

The residence originally caught fire on Christmas Eve in the early evening destroying the home perched on a hill just off Eastern Avenue. No one was reported injured.

Fire crews were unable to enter the structure at the time of the two-alarm blaze December 24th, so most of the eight-room home collapsed into the basement resulting in a deep pile of smoldering hot spots.

High overnight winds caused the embers to reignite at 5:30 a.m. this morning, according to Fall River Fire Lt. Danny Medeiros. He says when the call came in today Engine 9 and Ladder 4 out of the Flint Fire Station were the first rescue vehicles on the scene.
