Chief of Police Daniel S. Racine has authorized the issuance of “Special Parking Permits” for the 2015 Great Holy Ghost Feast of New England. Motor vehicles not displaying a “Special Parking Permit” will be issued a parking violation notice and will be towed away.
The permits will be valid from Thursday, August 27, 2015 through Sunday, August 30, 2015. Residents eligible for permits are those living on Bradford Avenue (#380 through #651), and Middle Street (#517 through #685), between Broadway to South Main Street, also Eagle Street (#289 and #303), Fountain Street (#311 through #358), and Mulberry Street (#358 through #384), between Bradford Avenue and Division Street, and Division Street (#369, #381, #451, and #509 only).
Special Parking Permits will be distributed by Deputy Police Chief Charles J. Cullen, the Commanding Officer assigned to the Feast detail, on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Kennedy Park corner of South Main Street and Bradford Avenue. Residents must present their motor vehicle registration certificate to be issued a permit. Residents unavailable on this date may telephone the Police Station and special arrangements will be provided.
