A 39 year old Fall River woman was sentenced on charges in connection with the murder of a city man back in 2015.
Adrienne Brown was sentenced today in Superior court to 12 to 18 years in state prison for stabbing 53 year old Brian Jones to death in May of 2015.
Judge Ray Veary felt that Brown was angry and simply wanted revenge when she attacked Jones during an argument outside her home at 477 Third Street.
Outside the courtroom Bristol County District Attorney Tom Quinn said he was pleased with the verdict, adding that Brown was out for revenge and took the victim’s life without justification.
Judge Veary felt that Brown is a danger to others, since evidence that had been presented at her trial showed she reacts violently when angry.
