The Katyn Society invites the Fall River community to join them at a memorial ceremony in honor of General Kazimierz Pulaski, a Polish hero of the American Revolution.
Known as the “Father of the American Calvary,” Pulaski volunteered his impressive military skills to assist the colonists during the war. He died at age 34 after being wounded in the Battle of Savannah.
Each October, communities throughout the United States mark Pulaski Day. The Fall River observance will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 21, at the Pulaski Monument in Pulaski Park. For more information, contact Attorney Richard M. Urban at 508-672-7588.
