The Fall River Pride Committee is preparing to host its fourth annual Pride Day event this Sunday from 12 pm to 4 pm.
Committee president Sean Connell says this year’s event will be held at a new location, the gates of the city on the waterfront.
Connell says the committee held a contest to select a theme for this year’s event.
Plans are in the works for a larger celebration in 2024 as the event reaches its fifth anniversary.
All the work the committee undertakes seeks broader awareness of the LGBTQ community in Fall River.
