Fall River Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of 29 year old Jerrod Cohen. He was identified today as the victim in connection with a shooting that took place last night at an apartment complex at 129 Plain Street.
According to a news release from The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, an emergency call came in at around 9:30 p.m. on the night of July 11th. Police found the victim lying on the ground in a first floor apartment with what appeared to be wounds from a gunshot. Cohen was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police officials assigned from the DA’s office do not have a suspect or a motive at this time. FRC Media News will have an update when details become available.
