Fall River police continue to search for a late model dark-colored Honda Civic in connection with gunshots reportedly fired on Fourth Street near Plymouth Avenue on Sunday Afternoon. Four men may have been inside the vehicle. The first call reporting gunfire came in a 3:25 p.m. after which police found multiple shell casings at the scene. The anonymous caller reported eight shots were fired. Witnesses say that the occupants of two cars were firing at each other.
Police continued to search for the gunmen. At 4:30 p.m., a car fitting the description was spotted on Rodman Street, but police determined it was not the vehicle involved in the shooting. A call to be out on the lookout for the vehicle was sent to all neighboring communities.
