In a bid to help addicts in the city get the help they need, Fall River Mayor Jasiel Correia has deemed August 31st through September 3rd Overdose Awareness Week in Fall River. At a morning news conference, the city’s Substance Abuse Grants Co-ordinator Mike Aguiar announced the line up of events in observance of the week. Also on hand were several social service agency representatives, including Laura Washington, a spokesperson for SStar & the BOLD Coalition:
