It’s official. Fall River Mayor Jasiel Correia II won another two year term after the unofficial voting results poured in on November 7th. Correia beat his opponent City Council Vice President Linda Pereira by 61 percent of the votes pulling in support with a final 8,914 vote win over Pereira’s 38.45 percentage point, which translates into 5,624 votes.  After thanking his campaign team, Government Center employees, and his family for all their hard work and support, Correia addressed the large crowd gathered at a local restaurant:
