A 26 year old Fall River man will service eight to ten years in state prison in connection with his role in multiple stabbing incidents over several years.

Edwin Pacheco pleaded guilty in Fall River Superior Court recently to a total of five indictments involving two separate incidents, according to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office. Pacheco was charged with three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Prosecutors had hoped the judge would sentence Pacheco to ten to fifteen years, and although that did not happen, he will serve three years probation following his release from state prison.
