The Fall River Public Library is planning some prehistoric activities for kids beginning next week.

Fall River Library is Going Jurassic!

Join Fall River Public Library for a journey to the Jurassic era … not to mention the Triassic and the Cretaceous! Visit the Children’s Room March 8-12 for a fun-filled week of DINOSAURS!

Children can:

  • Get their own dinosaur egg with a surprise inside!
  • Pick up a dinosaur craft!
  • Enter to win a dinosaur gift basket, and
  • Meet “Jezebel,” the giant Pteranodon!

Children who visit the library during this week can pick out their own dinosaur egg, enter the drawing for the gift basket, and say hello (politely!) to a life-size Pterandon. While visiting, they can check out some great new dinosaur books from our display. Children can pick up their dinosaur take-home craft during their visit, or parents can arrange for a curbside craft pickup. We will also premiere a special online Dinosaur Storytime!

The library is open for scheduled visits, as well as offering curbside service. To visit the library OR arrange for a craft/book pickup, call the Children’s Room at 508-324-2700, ext. 4.
