Fall River fire fighters responded to reports of a blaze that broke out at a three story tenement at 175 Morgan Street around 7:00 this morning. Officials say the fire was out within minutes of Fire Engine 2 arriving at the scene. Reportedly, the smoke alarms sounded in the building alerting residents to the danger.
Fire officials say that at this time no cause has yet been determined, although the fire started near an electrical line. All tenants were safely evacuated from the premises, and no injuries were reported.
