The Fall River City council voted to override a veto last night that would have allowed Mayor Jasiel Correia II to spend more money than councilors apparently think is necessary for his planned city streetscape project. Correia wants to upgrade streets and require certain business signage in various sections of Fall River in a bid to make the city more aesthetically pleasing. FRC Media News caught up with City Councilor Richard Cabeceiros before the council vote was taken. Here’s what he had to say:
