In Fall River’s final election scheduled for Tuesday, November 7th, 2017, one ballot question will ask registered voters if they want to pass the old antiquated city charter and replace it with a new version. The Fall River Charter Commission has been working for about two years on the legal wording for the proposed new charter to take the place of the current 80 plus year old current document.

Educational forums to provide information to registered voters about what the question would mean for the city will be held beginning later this month. Here is the news release given to FRC Media News with the details:
