A Veteran’s Day Parade will kick off in Fall River at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 11th. The parade will start from Upper Kennedy Park and will travel north on South Main Street to Government Center for concluding ceremonies. Line up for parade participants will begin at noon at the park.
Joseph V. R. Camara will serve as Grand Marshall in this year’s event. Camara, an Azorean Immigrant, served in the Vietnam War and is a Freetown resident; however, according to Director of Veteran’s Services Ray Hague, not all Grand Marshall picks are people in the city:
