Due to unforeseen construction problems on Alden Street near Father Travassos Park in Fall River, a planned carnival for this weekend has been cancelled. The event would have been the 7th annual carnival sponsored by the Flint Neighborhood Association.
Reports indicate that while Neighborhood Association President Carlos Cesar is disappointed, he has said that moving the carnival to a new location can not be done on such short notice.
