SCAVENGER HUNTS: BLACK HISTORY MONTH EVENT Visitor Center Lobby. Fall River is rich with history. These scavenger hunts put you on the path to discovering the people and stories that are the fabric of our community. Three scavenger hunts are available:
- Do You Know Your Fall River Black History?
- Find that African Flag,
- Textiles, Textiles Everywhere Free.

GET CREATIVE WITH THE GREATER FALL RIVER ART ASSOCIATION, Visitor Center. Craft a mask based on the people and traditions of Fall River.
- Feb. 18: African Culture masks
- Feb. 24: Native American-inspired masks with the Pocasset Wampanoags.
Suitable for all ages. Free. All materials are provided.

COLONIAL MEDICINE WITH “DR.” DAVE, Visitor Center. Learn about early American medical and dental practices with Dave Jennings from the Lafayette-Durfee House. See the tools and devices used. It may look and sound like a horror movie, but this was medicine! Fun for the whole family.

NATIVE AMERICAN STORYTELLING AND CRAFTS WITH THE POCASSET WAMPANOAG TRIBE OF MASSACHUSETTS AND RHODE ISLAND, Visitor Center
