The Bureau of Labor Statistics indicates the Bay State continues to pump out jobs with 7,100 hundred jobs added to the workforce in December.
Over the year Massachusetts has added 73,800 jobs to the market.
According to Labor and Workforce Development Secretary Ronald L. Walker, “The Commonwealth’s strong job gains in 2015 reflect the strength and diversity of our economy. The preliminary over the year job gain estimates indicate the strongest over the year job gains since 2,000.”
The most popular job positions were in education & health services; Professional, Scientific, and Business Services; and Information technology.
