The impact of early childhood programs on academic achievement will be examined at a free summit in Fall River on Friday, March 15.

“Early Childhood Summit: Investing in our Future Workforce” will be held in the Jackson Arts Center (H Building) at Bristol Community College’s  campus at 777 Elsbree St.  The featured speakers will be Dr. William H. Strader, Ed.D. and Ann Douglass, Ph.D.

The summit will take place from 10:30 a.m. to noon, with registration and continental breakfast from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. It is sponsored in part by Bristol County Chamber Foundation; BayCoast Bank; People, Inc.; The Children’s Museum of Greater Fall River; Bank Five; Gold Medal Bakery; John Boyd Childcare Center; and Representatives Alan Silvia, Carole Fiola, and Paul Schmid.
