Voters agreed to a Proposition Two and a Half/Debt Exclusion override during the March 6th special election in order to help pay for the city’s portion of a $263 million new Durfee High School in Fall River. While the pro and con sides agree a new school is necessary, opponents are concerned with how the override will affect taxpayers down the road.
