Under early summer weather conditions, the Class of 2021 at B.M.C. Durfee High School received their diplomas during a ceremony Saturday morning at Mac Aldrich Field.
School officials and leaders of the senior class used their remarks to honor the students for their perseverance in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Class salutatorian Sophia McDonnell took it one step further, telling her classmates not to take anything for granted.
