A fundraiser to drum up money for the Dress for Success Closet clothing drive for a Fall River-based Youth Connections program is underway. Whether they’re looking for a job, working on a resume or participating in a job readiness program, thousands of young men and women utilize the services of Youth Connections each year. One important life lesson they learn is that you can never make a first impression.
Youth Connection employees are requesting that area residents participate in the shirt and tie drive to benefit the program. The clothing that is donated of course, will be given to the young people looking for work, even if it’s just a summer position while they are in school.
Donations can be dropped off in the lobby of Government Center or at the Youth Connections building located at 139 South Main Street.
