Fall River community groups are working to organize help for the 80 people who lost their homes and belongings to a fire at the Four Winds Apartments on New Year’s Day, and various initiatives are already in place. Click here for details:
In addition, Servpro of Fall River and the Firefighters Wives Association are collecting items such as gift cards, personal hygiene items, clothing, and socks for the victims of the fire. Donations can be dropped off from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on January 4 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on January 5 at 2407 South Main Street in Fall River.
