October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, and in observance of it, the Greater Fall River Domestic Violence Coalition is hosting a recognition event.
The event will take place at Government Center in Fall River at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10. It will feature the raising of the coalition’s flag and a proclamation by Mayor Jasiel Correia. Light refreshments will be served.
Greater Fall River Domestic Violence Coalition is a collaboration of local agencies that work to reduce domestic violence. It was founded in 1994.
