The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) has released a plan to guide local school districts on how it should handle student transportation when the school year starts in the fall.
The plan calls for only one student per bench on buses. Masks will be required for all students and staff on buses and at bus stops. The state is also asking that monitors be assigned to all buses to monitor safety activity.
