The annual Holiday Open House at Fall River Historical Society (FRHS) has begun for the 2018 season and will continue daily through December 30, except for Christmas Day. There is no charge for admission.
The “Victorian Christmas extravaganza” has been featured on Chronicle and draws visitors from around the region every year. It includes free tours, lavish period-style decorations throughout the FRHS mansion, and a series of elaborate Christmas trees decorated in creative themes. Each tree takes weeks to create, and each year the trees are different.
Hours are 9:00 to 4:30 Monday – Friday and 1:00 to 5:00 Saturdays and Sundays. On December 24, the museum will close early, at 2:00 p.m.
