The Fall River Board of Elections has announced that those who wish to vote in the September 21st City Preliminary Election who are not registered must do so by the end of the day Wednesday, September 1st.
The elections office is open weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm to register voters and will extend its hours on September 1st, closing at 8 pm that day.
Unlike last year there is no early in-person voting this year. Mail-in ballots are available. The deadline to request a mail-in ballot is Wednesday, September 15.
The City Preliminary Election will be held on Tuesday, September 21 with polls open across 29 city precincts beginning at 7 am and closing at 8 pm.
