Fall River will celebrate its Portuguese heritage at the 2019 Day of Portugal festival, beginning on June 6 and continuing through June 9 at the Gates of the City on the Ponta Delgada Boulevard.
Events and activities will include the Fourth Annual Food Tasting Fundraiser, a series of free outdoor concerts, a free Kids Faire, and the city’s first whale boat regatta, featuring three authentic whale boats owned by the Azorean Maritime Heritage Society – the only three of their kind in the United States.
