The United Way of Greater Fall River (UWGFR) and the Fall River Parks Department are sponsoring a clean-up at Kennedy Park at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, June 21, the United Way’s 2019 Day of Action.
Volunteers will meet at the park pavilion and will work to prepare park areas for Greater Fall River RE-CREATION’s Summer Lunch in the Park program and the Eat. Play. Read. program, sponsored by UWGFR, Greater Fall River RE-CREATION, and Partners for a Healthier Community.
The annual Day of Action is a nationwide United Way initiative that provides opportunities for volunteers, donors, and advocates to address challenges in their communities.
