Fall River’s Creative Arts Network (C.A.N.) will host a Tree Festival Gala Concert from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 15, at First Congregational Church, located at 282 Rock Street.
The concert will include performances by several local musicians: Judith Conrad, pianist; Joyce Jacobsen and friends, Christmas songs; The Delight Consort, early music; Andrew Safioleas, violin; Dan Moniz, clarinet; and the Aaron Shatkin Saxophone Ensemble. In addition, the audience will be invited to join in singing Christmas carols and the Hallelujah Chorus. Refreshments will be served, and admission is free.
C.A.N.’s fourth annual Festival of Trees will take place earlier in the day, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Government Center.
