Crafts for All Ages at Fall River Public Library
This week, the Fall River Public Library has curbside crafts for kids—and grownups can get in on the fun, too!
Our children’s curbside craft is a cute Leprechaun Zoom Toy. Parents can reserve one for kids to pick up at the door—or plan a library visit to check out our display of St. Patrick’s Day books. To book your appointment, call the children’s room: 508-324-2700, ext. 4. This craft is made possible with support from Debby and Richard Danner.
Adults can get crafty, too, with our Puzzle Frame Craft. This take-home craft kit includes everything you need to paint upcycled puzzle pieces to create a custom picture frame, a perfect gift for Easter, Mother’s Day, birthdays, anniversaries, or anytime! To reserve yours, call 508-324-2700, ext. 3. This craft is offered in collaboration with our friends at the Greater Fall River Art Association and is supported in part by a grant from the Fall River Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
Throughout the month of March, the Friends of the Fall River Public Library are hosting a Spring Chance Raffle with a chance to win one of 41 seasonal gift bags. Tickets are just $1, or 6 for $5, and all proceeds benefit the Friends of the Library. To purchase tickets and view the gifts for raffle, make an appointment to visit the library by calling 508-324-2700, ext. 2. All gift bags are donated by T.J. Maxx.
For more information, call the library at 508-324-2700 or visit fallriverlibrary.org.
