A community vigil will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26 at The Hebrew Cemetery of Fall River, where close to 60 graves were recently desecrated.

The cemetery is located at 73 McMahon Street.  City residents of different faiths and members of groups including the Jewish War Veterans, VFW, and Massachusetts National Guard will be in attendance to show solidarity and support for Fall River’s Jewish community.

Donations to assist with the costs of cleaning the gravestones that were defaced can be sent to Temple Beth El, 385 High Street, Fall River, MA 02720.  Donors are asked to write “Hebrew Cemetery” on the memo line of their checks.
