The City of Fall River will host a public meeting to collect community input about Mass in Motion Fall River’s Complete Streets Program from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 10.
Funded by the state Department of Transportation, the program works to make infrastructure improvements to roadways owned by municipalities to better serve users of all types.
“A Complete Street is one that provides safe and accessible options for all travel modes — walking, biking, transit and vehicles – for people of all ages and abilities,” according to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ web site.
The meeting will be held in the First Floor Hearing Room at Government Center. Ideas and feedback can also be submitted here: http://wikimapping.com/wikimap/fallriver.html.
