A community garden located on North 7th Street in Fall River is now open to the public. The garden idea blossomed last summer as a result of efforts from members of the Bank Street Neighborhood Association. Now celebrating its second year, President Natalie Melo says, volunteers help tend the garden that produces a wide variety of vegetables including, peas, spinach, green beans, tomatoes, and more. Melo tells FRC Media News that the garden, which supplies fresh food to social service agencies, and residents alike, also serves as an educational experience for youngsters:
