Volunteers turned out Wednesday, May 18th to start clearing land for the 34th North Seventh Street Community Garden near the downtown area. The property was recently acquired by Greater Fall River RE-CREATION and the Bank Street Neighborhood Association for precisely this reason. Over 30 volunteers turned out today to begin the project. Area non-profits and neighborhood Associations are collaborating to ensure success. Donna Motta spoke with President of the Bank Street Association about funding issues:
