Good news on the Fall River job front for the month of October.
The city’s unadjusted unemployment rate for October fell to 4.5%, down a full percentage point from 5.5% in September. The unemployment rate in Fall River has dropped steadily all year, starting with a rate of 9.5% in January.
The state unemployment rate for October sits at 3.3%, well below the national rate of 4.9%
The city’s labor force is estimated to sit at 38,909 people, with 1,751 unemployed.
