The City of Fall River’s Department of Community Maintenance (DCM) will accept household hazardous waste this Friday, June 16.
From the City of Fall River
The City of Fall River will be hosting a Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Friday, June 16th. The collection will take place from 8am to 1pm. Residents can drop off their hazardous waste items at the North End Fire Station located at 140 Commerce Drive in Fall River. There is no charge for dropping off hazardous waste. Residents are asked to bring identification and proof of residency.
The City will accept a broad range of hazardous waste including but not limited to:
- Aerosol Cans
- Cleaners
- Electronics
- Fire extinguishers/smoke detectors
- Lighter fluid/transmission fluid
- Gasoline/mercury
- PCB light ballasts
- Poisons/herbicides/pesticides
- Paint stripper
