The city of Fall River is working with U.S. Census Bureau officials in a last-ditch effort to get city residents to take part in being counted.

REGIONAL US CENSUS BUREAU HOSTING “LAST SPLASH” CENSUS EVENTS IN FALL RIVER THURSDAY/FRIDAY
Ahead of the September 30th deadline to complete the Census, the US Census Bureau is coordinating two events at local food pantries where residents can complete the Census. Local officials will be attending to promote the Census.
FALL RIVER, Mass. – Thursday and Friday of this week, Mayor Paul Coogan and Fall River’s elected officials will be joining two events hosted by the U.S. Census Bureau in an effort to encourage Fall River residents to complete the Census. At this time, thousands of residents have yet to respond. The events, at the Greater Fall River Food Pantry on Thursday and Citizens for Citizens on Friday, will feature Census giveaways and enumerators on the spot to assist residents with the Census.
