City Of Fall River Sues Pharmaceutical Companies Over Opioid Crisis

Mayor Jasiel Correia has announced the city has filed a civil lawsuit in Bristol County Superior Court against seventeen major nationwide pharmaceutical companies alleging they were responsible for the increasing rate of opioid addiction plaguing the city.  City Corporation Counsel Joseph Macy and Mayor Correia explain the purpose of the lawsuit.
