There will be a Ceremony of Reflection and Remembrance in honor of the victims of the Orlando shootings on Saturday, June 18 at City Hall Plaza here in Fall River. The event will take place on the west side of Government Center.

Early Sunday morning, a lone gunman identified as Omar Matten shot and killed 49 people at a nightclub in Orlando, Florida, killing 49 people before police were able to kill the suspect bringing the death toll to 50.

Here in Fall River, the ceremony to remember and honor the victims will take place this Saturday on the west side of Government Center beginning at 6:00 p.m. Speakers will include Mayor Jasiel Correia, Police Chaplain Cantor Richard Wahlberg, and Father Michael Racine. All are welcome to attend.
