Youth in Fall River can again take advantage of a free lunch on weekdays this summer as part of the summer lunch program organized by Greater Fall River RE-CREATION. The annual program serving food and providing activities has existed since 1996.
The City of Fall River, the Fall River Housing Authority, the Fall River Community Development Agency and the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education will assist in providing hundreds of meals daily across Fall River from July 1 through August 23.
Additional activities featuring the Fall River Library’s bookmobile and The Trustees of Reservations will take place at sites throughout the season.
