The City of Fall River has cut the ribbon on a new trolley that will transport residents and visitors across the city.
Mayor Paul Coogan says the trolley was secured from a transit system in Delaware and will support a full schedule of activities along the waterfront this summer.
The trolley will travel across Fall River every Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm beginning June 1 and throughout the season. Patti Rego, Executive Director of Viva Fall River, says the trolley route will stop at multiple attractions across the city.
Trolley rides will cost $5.00 for adults with children under 12 free for a limited time. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or upon boarding by scanning a special QR code on the trolley. for more information on trolley service and to purchase tickets, visit the city’s website.
