The city has released details of live Christmas Treet disposal and pickup this season.

(FALL RIVER, MA-DECEMBER 18, 2023)- The Office of Mayor Paul E. Coogan along with the Department of Community Maintenance would like to inform residents of the Christmas tree disposal details for this holiday season. Christmas tree pickup will take place on the weeks of January 2nd-6th and January 8th-13th of 2024 during normal trash pickup times.
Residents are reminded that trees must be placed beside trash carts and must be free of all coverings and decorations, such as lights, ornaments, or garland.
Any residents who would like to dispose of their tree on their own can drop off their tree at the DPW yard located at 10 Lewiston St. free of charge, during normal hours of operation. The hours of operation for the DPW yard are Monday- Friday from 7 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m.- 12 p.m.
The Mayor’s Office and the Department of Community Maintenance wish the residents of Fall River a safe and healthy holiday season.
