A new trend has adults reviving an old time childhood activity: Coloring books.
The Fall River Public Library at 104 North Main Street offers an adult coloring program. Assistant Library Administrator Liane Verville says that a coloring book program for adults has attracted up to thirty participants at a time. The program is offered every other Tuesday beginning at 6:00 p.m. Library staff offers pencils and crayons along with pages from coloring books that are somewhat detailed to the participants. The purpose is to help relax people as they fill in their designs. Verville says her own adult daughter partakes in this activity:
