A Charter Commission Review Forum will be held on Tuesday, October 20th at Bristol Community College.
The engaging forum is designed to help citizens of Fall River better understand the Charter Review Ballot Question to be considered by voters on Election Day, November 3, 2015.
Mr. Kris Bartley, Chairman of the Fall River Charter Review Group and moderator, Fall River City Councilor Mike Miozza will be the keynote speakers. Miozza plans to discuss how the Charter Review Ballot question came to be developed, and why he worked so hard to get the question on the ballot.
Bristol Community College students have prepared questions which they will present to the panel which includes:
Mr. Stephen McGoldrick, Collins Center for Public Management
Attorney Nicholas D. Bernier, McLaughlin and Quinn, LLC
Mr. Steven P. Cole, former Charter Chair Newburyport
Mr. Kris Bartley, President, Fall River Charter Review Group.
The forum will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. in room L101, on the Bristol Community College Fall River Campus, 777 Elsbree St. The event is free and open to the public.
