For over 40 years, Citizens for Citizens, Inc. (CFC) has helped make the holidays brighter for families across Fall River through its Operation Christmas campaign. The number of local families in need of help in providing gifts for their children continues to grow.
CFC Director of Community Resources Chrystal Arpa says the program will supply gifts to approximately 4,000 children in Fall River.
The reports of delivery delays during the holiday season have impacted CFC’s ability to purchase toys, but Arpa is confident that every family that registers for support will get it.
Families need to register for Operation Christmas in advance with the deadline next Thursday, December 9.
Families in the program will see a change in how gifts will be distributed.
For those in the community who wish to contribute a new, unwrapped toy to Operation Christmas may do so right up to Christmas Eve
