The national 2020 Census – which is conducted every 10 years – kicked off recently, when a member of the State Committee On Redistricting visited Government Center in Fall River to provide informational services. At the event, Paul Mark – who also serves as State Representative for the 2nd Berkshire District – explained the importance of gathering household information from every resident in Fall River to include in the 2020 Census:
Once the 2020 Census is completed, billions of dollars in federal funding that is channeled through the Bay State state can then be distributed appropriately to each the Commonwealth’s 351 cities and towns.
