The Greater Fall River Art Association is launching its latest art show this weekend and will feature the work of students in its youth and adult art classes.
Association President Dana Barnes says the student show features work from youth ages 6 to 12.
The adult show spotlights four students in the organization’s introductory oil painting class. Ms. Barnes says adult art beginners often lack the confidence to show off their creativity.
Ms Barnes says classes will be offered again beginning this fall. She remains encouraged by the youth in the program to foster the growth in the fine arts
The student art show kicks off on Saturday and will run on Saturdays and Sundays until May 25 at the Greater Fall River Art Association at 80 Belmont Street.
