(Fall River, MA, March 10, 2020)- The Fall River Community Development Agency (CDA) is utilizing a $100,000 Community Development Block Grant to fix sidewalks in several areas in the City of Fall River. The total population in these areas that will be impacted by this project is 33,450 people.
“As the weather gets warmer and there are more outdoor activities, I am pleased to see that many of our sidewalks will be revamped and made more accessible for foot traffic,” said Mayor Paul E. Coogan. “This construction is the beginning of a busy summer for fixing streets and sidewalks. I would like to thank Mike Dion, Executive Director of CDA, for the great effort in securing these funds and determining locations in need.”
